![]() ![]() Maximum depth -31 m Medium adverage depth -25 - 30 m Situated about 100m from "Moro Rock" in the zone that we call "La Xarxa" because of the abundance of fishing nets and baskets, also known as "La seca de Llevadó". Its an extensive zone and its walls fall to about -25 -30m surrounded by sandy seabeds. The highest point is situated at -16m. Immediately surrounding the seabed at -28m we will observe an enormous quantity of sea-fan, Sea whip and big yellow sponges. This zone stands out by its abundance of lobsters at certain times of the year and for its great variety of fish groupers, etc. During the summer of `99 it was observed in this zone several shoals of big base and with a little luck moon-fish, tunas and anchovies. Important note: To visit this zone with our boat we require our Divers to hold a CMAS** or equivalent (Advanced Open Water) and a minimum number of dives logged. It is also obligatory to take dive tables and/or computer in the event of decompression stops. Because the zone is affected by winds we must be on guard against currents. Also one must be vigilant and stay well away from fishing lines etc. |
